Earth As Feminine
March 03, 2008 06:47 AM PST
This is an unedited rebroadcast of a show recorded at WBCX, Gainesville, Georgia, March, 2004. The Native Americans viewpoint of women related strongly to the fertility and productive yield of the tribe. If women were disrespected, then the crops would not grow. To honor the earth was to honor woman and vice versa. This show highlights the feminine aspects of Earth in addition to these teachings. This is the concept of Boundaries. When we violate another's sacred space, we violate the person. We must respect ourselves and others on this beauty walk we call life. Path of the Heart
February 13, 2009 06:24 PM PST
In honor of Valentine's Day, this show focuses on the Path of the Heart, the Walk in Beauty. We talk about the drum's importance in helping us to connect with the rhythms of Mother Earth. The Animal Totem of this show is the Woodpecker, who reminds us to follow our own rhythm in life. I also talk about the Art Cards that I make by hand and describe the process a bit. Tough to do on an audio medium, but it's there. I hope you enjoy this episode of Tribal Vibe. It's a generous 2.5 hours long! This is the LAST FREE EPISODE. Would love to keep doing this for free, but with 58,000 views, downloads and clicks of the show over the last year, it's time for a change. If you love Tribal Vibe, then please donate a minimum of $1 to the cause today. It will help so much! Thank you and Enjoy! Dreams

With respect to Martin Luther King, this show is a look at the teachings of the Dreamtime and how they apply to us in this modern world. How do we manifest our dreams? This is an unedited show broadcast from WBCX, Gainesville, Ga. The photograph, however, is from Asheville on a day when the clouds were dancing with the light on the mountains. Compassion

Compassion for ourselves, for others and our planet is essential to walking in beauty. We must always think kindlyof others, for we never know what steps they've taken to be here now. |
